The MKZ was one attractive looking automobile. Don’t get me wrong I like the new one but I will miss the waterfall grill. It was distinctive.

The rear was always the best view on the MKZ (still is, honestly) but that split-wing grille was awful and I’m glad to see it go. The new one is much more attractive.

I’m torn, I’ve seen the new one in person... I think it looks better but its kinda sad to see an actually unique design language die.

The front was awful, those lights are just too small.

The back was better, but suffered from the same issue. The full-width taillight bar is just too narrow for the back of the car.

Despite all controversy the split grille at least made it instantly recognizable as a Lincoln, which is a good thing.

The new model just looks like a Volvo.

These still catch my eye in traffic, from the rear especially. I don’t think the new nose works right as a facelift, but once we see that language on a car designed for it I think it’ll work out.
